Guiding Birmingham’s largest cocktail festival across the second city

Mojito? Cosmopolitan? Pina Colada? Mine’s an Amaretto Sour. Birmingham Cocktail Weekend is an annual long weekend dedicated to celebrating the best of the city’s bar scene. Now in its 9th year, the event is Birmingham’s largest and best loved cocktail festival.

As part of their ticketed entry, BCW provide a detailed guidebook which they overhaul annually, collaborating with local designers. Not the smallest, or easiest city to navigate, the guidebook required a map to help direct festival goers across 40+ potential options and help create the easiest experience possible.

The solution is rooted in using Birmingham landmarks as signposts, but with a cocktail twist. Mint leaf trees, Floozy’s umbrella and the Rotunda’s tumbler-like appearance all help play on botanical elements in a functional but fun way. Cheers!
